How does a team that lost in the first round of the playoffs have 3 people on the 1A all state team and 2 honorable mentions? If they have that many good players then why didn't they make it out of the first round?

A 2-loss Barbe State Runner-up coach gets Coach of the Year over an Undefeated First-Time State Champion coach? Cutrera is a heck of a coach, but you clowns missed an easy lay-up here. Hands down, that honor belongs to Rummel's Jay Roth. Ridiculous.

I am interested in joining the organization . I am the Founder and CEO of The BIC Alliance(www.bicalliance.com) publisher of BIC Magazine the largest multi-industry energy magazine in America. We also own BIC Media Solutions where we publish books of signifiance . We have been running leisure and sport related stories for decades and are in the process of publishing a book about Louisiana ports legends and heroes past and present and their contibutions to the community. This book will be used as a fundraiser for Louisiana sports legends including players and coaches that have foundations or favorite charities that need help financially.-Among the folks who have been recomended for inclusion in the book are several members of Louisiana Sports Writers Association. There is a serious issue that really needs to made aware of and dealt with. High school coaches not giving kids letters of interest from colleges. T
It should be a law made mandatory by the LHSAA, that coaches not deny kids the right to know that they are being shown interest by these institutions of higher learning. Whether it be an invite to a camp or a visit to a campus. A kid and his parents should have every to be given the chance to be a part of something they earned. Why would a coach in his right mind, want to deprive a kid of a dream or opportunity that could change his or her life. This crime is happening all over Louisiana and it really need to be dealt with.
